- Henderson patterson bodies- Molluscum contagiosum
- Negri bodies- Rabies
In rabies, Negri bodies occur in neurons of the brain stem, particularly those in the hippocampus, and in the Purkinje cells of the cerebellum. Their presence is pathognomic for rabies and is an important diagnostic finding.
